Kenya Space Agency Engages Peponi House School Students in Space Exploration Activities

Peponi House School, 26 March 2025 -The Kenya Space Agency (KSA), through its Outreach and Awareness Department, conducted an engaging educational program at Peponi House School, aimed at inspiring young minds in space science and technology.
The event, which commenced with a courtesy call to the school’s administration, featured a series of interactive sessions designed to introduce students to various aspects of space.

Students participated in

Robotics and virtual reality (VR) simulations - providing them with a hands-on experience in programming and automation, key components in space technology.
• Planetarium session- took learners on a virtual journey through the solar system, enhancing their understanding of celestial bodies.
• Telescope observation - segment offered a rare opportunity to observe astronomical objects, fostering curiosity about space science.
• Earth Observation demonstration- where students learned about the use of satellite imagery and its application in Mapping environmental monitoring and

These activities were conducted in multiple sessions, ensuring all students had the opportunity to explore and engage with each topic.
KSA continues to cultivate interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) among young learners, fostering the next generation of space scientists and engineers in Kenya.
